Thursday 23 February 2012: Making the bridge pink.
This is our daughter and grandchildren, after pressing the button to make the Newcastle Millenium Bridge pink, to advertise the Race for life, for Cancer Research.
A very emotional day, as our daughter has been on local radio, and all three of them on ITV.
The day ended with my husband being admitted to hospital. I hope they find out what is wrong with him quickly.
