Wednesday 22 February 2012: Willis Building - Ipswich
One of the earliest buildings designed by Norman Foster and Grade 1 listed. I had to snap a shot on the phone before leaving.
Due to its listed status no changes are allowed, meaning that all signs are magnetic and the super bright green and yellow interior colors are retained. My favorite was the former swimming pool - now an open office reminiscent of the main floor of Lloyd's - which still has painted markers on the pillars indicating the water depth...
