Friday 24 February 2012: The Unseeing Eye
I was listening to a programme on the radio this morning about prosthetic eyes. There was one contributer, a photographer, who had lost an eye in the most appalling circumstances.
She explained that she had lost her "viewing" eye and the effect that this had on her photography and how she had to learn to use her other eye as her viewing eye.
I guess we all favour one eye, for me it is my right eye, when using the view finder. How, I wonder, would we cope if we had to use our other eye? Perhaps it is something we should all try.
