Friday 24 February 2012: Kelp Beds
After a gloomy miserable start, the sun broke through and it was gorgeous, down to the beach at lunch time. The tide was the lowest I'd ever seen it and the sun sparkled on the revealed kelp beds! The clouds were amazing, it was like a summers day, couldn't resist a paddle and the sea was not as freezing as I thought, given it's only February! I guess the winter has been so mild the sea has not got so cold, I'll be swimming next!
