Saturday 25 February 2012: Dull as (it's for) dishwater

It's a tea towel. I have had it hanging around in an unopened packet in the indecision of what to do with it pile. It is a completely ridiculous thing (IMO) but I was holding on to it as I felt I needed to show it to someone, to the world. I'm imagining the meeting where this was agreed.

"OK next on the agenda, publicising the annual report. Any ideas?"

"Press release?"

"Well that would be standard, but they never seem to write about things when we send them out"

"Posters on buses?"

"Bit pricey"

"I've an idea. It's a bit off the wall. How about we print up some tea towels and distribute them to all the households in the area. Everyone likes something for free then every time they use it they will be reminded of all the things we have done for them"

"Brilliant! That's it. Off you go. Make it eye catching and informative"
