A Nottingham image that I very much associate with that feeling of arriving back home are the cooling towers as you approach from the M1.
Today taken from Attenborough nature reserve, the 8 cooling towers very much dominate the skyline. Scene of many a protest over the years - Love 'em or hate 'em they're probably here to stay.
