Sunday 26 February 2012: Winjeel
The Winjeel (aboriginal for young eagle) was used in the RAAF from 1955 as a training aircraft.
We went to Point Cook airbase today for a small air show. It was 33? so we sat in the shade and watched. I think if we'd have been in the sun we'd have ended looking like dried up shrivelled prunes! It was money well spent as entry was free.
