Red Road - 26

It was a pretty grim day today and nowhere grimmer than here.

The reason I was revisiting Red Road today was because it was Red Road Day at the People's Palace with a special event in advance of the demolition where past and present residents could share their memories and have pictures taken.

Crawford of Glasgow Museums was telling me that he believes the first demolition is likely to be delayed again, this time because a pair of Peregrine Falcons have been spotted setting up home in the empty flats. They are a protected species and if they are nesting there it could be some months before anything can be done.
