Windmill

I don't know if this is a working windmill or not. There wasn't any wind about today anyway.

Its interesting to compare with the wind turbines of today. I wonder if anyone protested about the industrialisation of the landscape, the fact that the sail might fall off, or the noise, when it was constructed?
