Sunday 17 August 2008: wonder what it's thinking
We were out for a "Sunday drive" and ended up at the same wildlife trail/boardwalk that Photo Journal and I have both gone to lately. This alligator was resting very close-only a few feet from the walkway. there is a wood post-and-board type fence, with open spaces, and we crouched down to take some photos. The gator moved a little and faced us directly after a few minutes, so we decided to give it some space. It was not full grown, maybe 7 feet long, but big enough to respect.
