Freitag Delicatessen

Today kind of got away from me. A late start and lunch, followed by watching golf on TV until dinner. And no blip, so I made a quick trip into town and found this corner grocer, and shot this as I passed by.

Which reminds me. Today we celebrate the 96th birthday of the late great comedian, Jackie Gleason. As Ralph Kramden in the Honeymooners series, he often frequented the Freitag Delicatessen in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York, just like this grocery store in Wilmington, North Carolina.
