Tuesday 28 February 2012: busy bees
My grandson's class at school were responsible for the assembly performance today. A song and play about bees and when we arrived the classroom was literally abuzz with activity.
Amber, how appropriately named, was queen bee for the day and apparently played her role very well. Strange tales of demanding they all ate chocolate which sounds a little suspicious...wishful thinking perhaps!!
Getting 20+ five and six year olds dressed and then into a line to take them to the hall was tantamount to herding cats!!
I think coralling a swarm would have been easier.
