Tuesday 28 February 2012: Micro-climate
We had a lovely walk on the clifftops this morning. The sun was shining to the North and to the South but this place has a unique little micro-climate and there was a significant covering of cloud. It was very calm with hardly a breath of wind - unusual for this coast - and the temperature was 16 degrees C - the forecast was right for once. We were perspiring as we were over-dressed having doubted the promise of a mini-heatwave.
