Monday 18 August 2008: watching the Olympics
I've never tried taking pictures of a television before and the few I just took didn't come out well, but this is what we've been spending a lot of time doing over the last week or so. We've seen a lot of swimming, diving, gymnastics, etc and now they've gone into track + field. The beach volleyball has been a big favorite, too- May and Walsh won this set and are now winning the 2nd against Brazil. The weather here is awful right now, there wasn't much going outside after work. We have tropical storm Fay going over us- it should be gone by late tomorrow.
