Tuesday 28 February 2012: Up,up and away.

In the middle of all the hustle and bustle of the City of Newcastle, there is a beautiful oasis. The courtyard in the middle of the Civic Centre buildings. There is water, grass and seats for people to sit and enjoy the calm.
This is where I found myself around lunchtime today. The sun was shining, it was very warm, and lots of people were enjoying the peace.
This is a sculpture, Swans in Flight, by David Wynne, which is in the middle of the water. The ducks seem to enjoy it too.
We have had a busy and worrying time again. My husband was back in hospital yesterday, with the same problems which started six days ago. He has had all the tests possible, and whilst very weak, as he has not eaten in all that time, he came home again last night. He had to go back today for ultra sound scans, and blood tests, but was back home mid morning, feeling a little better. I hope this is an end to it, and he starts to make some progress now.
