Waterfoot Sunrise

Let There Be Light

Well the car load of stuff from the garage didn't rattle as much as I thought it might. Even on the single track "Wee Road" it wasn't too bad. Only sticky moment was when I had to break suddenly for a van approaching at speed. The BBQ, a fence post and number of tools shot forward mostly hitting the back of our seats, although Mrs B did well to grab the fence post before it reached the windscreen!

It was mild and drizzly all the way down the road, but as Carradale came into sight the sun tried hard to break through the clouds in a couple of areas. As its a good few days since we last saw the sun, I just had to pull in and try and find myself a sunny blip.

So today's blip is looking South over the Kilbrannan Sound with Arran on the left and the East coast of Kintyre on the right. Good to see at least one Black Faced Sheep in the field, as more often than not they just wander about at the side of the road! The real delight in taking this shot was listening to the Skylarks above me. Even although I could not see them, it was another sure sign that Spring is here!

Back in Carradale it brightened up for a while, but as soon as we got the shoes on to go for a walk the drizzle came back. Never mind, a walk in the drizzle with the birds singing is better than no walk at all!
