Tuesday 28 February 2012: Farmland near Whaley

Had a walk around Whaley and Whaley Thorns this afternoon, near the Derbyshire border with Nottinghamshire. It gradually became brighter with a bit of sunshine following a dull morning. Very mild, even with the slight to moderate breeze.

The open farmland made for a slight change from the usual scene, and there was a nice stump in the foreground from the broken line of an old hedge. The view is looking east into Nottinghamshire.
