Those Mesopotamians had it all sorted until someone pointed out the futility of base 60. Along come the Egyptians, all, Look at us and our base 10, check this out.
I could tell you about my early blip on a compact camera, incorrect exif data and the struggles that ensued trying to correct the date with some exif changer software I downloaded but that would be somewhat duller than the numbers.... and that's saying something.
