Wednesday 29 February 2012: Meet Herman
Herman is a sour dough cake, he takes 10 days to prepare before you cook him. On day 9 you divide the dough and give it to 3 other friends, and then they leave it 9 days too before doing anything with it. My microbiology brain is amazed and disgusted all at the same time!
In other news got the offer on our house but was lower than anticipated:-( we're currently in wranglings trying to get some money off the one we really want to buy, it's all very stressful (like I didn't know it was going to be!)
I'm off to pound the pavements tonight, maybe if I run loads I'll be so tired I'll actually get some sleep tonight, here's hoping.
