Tuesday 19 August 2008: Full-frontal Self-Portrait
I've been meaning to do one of these for a while (in fact for my 730, but I ran out of time). But 42's 365 reminded me, and I've been practising some off-camera flash stuff in the last couple of days for an event I'm shooting on Saturday. So no time like the present.
The on-board flash on my D70s is a bit unreliable, so it took quite a few goes to get this, even after I'd experimented with exposure etc.
Strobist Info: Camera on tripod, remote SB600 behind me on a Gorillapod on top of the filing cabinet. Camera triggered by standard IR remote, flash triggered by commander mode on D70s. Tweaked contrast and converted to BW in Lightroom.
Ears - all natural.
