mummy? dar? whereohwhereohwhere?

After forgetting for a bit after we got home from nursery he remembered about his mum and started trying to invest himself with her attributes to invoke her presence. After shuffling her slippers across the room one at a time he gave up and started trying to drag me through to the kitchen, so I distracted him with a ukulele until Nicky appeared.

After waiting in for the postman in the morning prior to the arrival of the washing-machine fixing-man it was disappointing that the only post was a bank-spam for Nicky. Whilst the washing-machine fixing-man was interrogating the washing machine I had another half-hearted attempt to remove the headset from oldbike and took the brake levers off oldbike's handlebars, ready to use on the yet-undelivered new handlebars with the yet-undelivered bar-end shifters. Five minutes before heading out to pick Edgar up the bloke from next door leaned over the wall with two boxes, one small one from CRC containing the shifters and another from Wiggle, large enough to contain three or four 20" wheels but housing only the handlebar, which is ever so slightly too narrow for the bar-end shifters to fit into. I'll given them a go in the current manglebars (which are wide enough anyway and might work with a little bending) before assessing my tools to see what might be used to waggle a couple of extra tenths of a millimetre out of the new bars' ends.
