Spoonbills

Haven't been able to do any birds lately, so was very excited to see the spoonbills today. They were sheltering from a howling southerly gale, and not interested in moving, so I was lucky when the one at the top flew over.

The estuary is very dirty, (and smelly!) and was very rough in the wind, but there were lots of birds in this little area, heron, stilts, gulls and caspian terns.

Not up to poobas std I'm afraid and I cut the trees out of the middle, but that's what I'm aiming towards always.
