Thursday 1 March 2012: Kiss my ass

The 'smaller' bee here was a somewhat wet and bedraggled creature which when I went to photograph it was completely immobile on the dahlia. In fact I truly thought it was one dead bee BUT then the big bully bee arrived on the plant and started crawling all over the wee bee. Here it looks like it's kissing ass although it was at one stage looking like it was the kiss of life too.
The big bully flew off and the wee bee perked up and started staggering round the dahlia. Not dead after all :-)
