Thursday 1 March 2012: sun touched
Officially the first day of autumn here.
With a later sunrise and earlier sunset every day, the hound and I on our 6 am dash are just starting to to see the tops of eucalypt trees showing off their blond tips in the morning.
Very tall, incredibly straight and with smooth, creamy trunks that feel chalky to the touch, they catch the first touch of light as it creeps over a suburban horizon.
