Thursday 1 March 2012: The Solitude of Bones

Sometimes just walking through the glaze of snow, ice and the remains of cow parsley in the side field is enough to renew my spirit and make me feel peacefully rooted to all that surrounds me. A bit of wind swayed the bones of weeds as I walked and the red tailed hawk watched me from a safe perch on the old maple. The simplicity of a macro seemed appropriate today.
