Thursday 1 March 2012: One fat lady
A bit harsh some would say. Perhaps curvy, symmetrical, infinite are more endearing descriptions. Number 8 is actually a pretty nifty number.
- Number 8 is considered lucky in Chinese and Japanese culture. So much so that the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Beijing started at 8:08:08 on 08/08/08.
- There are approximately 8 pinches in a teaspoon
- Scorpio is the 8th sign of the zodiac
- A byte is 8 bits
- Year number 8 was a leap year
There. We can all sleep easier now.
Oh and yes, I did take a cheeky wee afternoon trip to the cinema today, pure luxury!
