Hon in Edinburgh

I'm sure this gentleman has owned this art gallery shop for quite a while, but I was minded to approach him for a picture because he was outside photographing one of his framed prints. That picture looked like a monochrome picture with some tartan hats highlighted in colour. I told him you'll see that kind of selective colouring quite common in today's digital world, and that the artist was quite a bit ahead of his time.

I wanted to capture the proprietor surrounded by his paintings. I didn't need to tell him how to pose, just where to stand. It probably looks too much like something from a Sunday newspaper magazine article, but he seemed to like the idea.
