Edinburgh Labyrinth

The Edinburgh Labyrinth is a reflective space in George Square. It's a rather compact Labyrinth laid out cobbles in a gravel circle about 10m across. The intention is that you walk it as your reflect.

For those who might have difficulty with the main labyrinth, this "Finger Labyrinth" is cast in metal and mounted on a log nearby. It is designed to allow those with mobility or sight problems to navigate the labyrinth by tracing the route with a finger. Very clever.

It catches my eye every time I walk past - I love the colour of the metal, and the rather striking shadows fomed as the light falls on it.

It's been in my "blip bank" for a while, but I keep getting distracted by robins and squirrels.
