Thursday 1 March 2012: Head in the bark
It was a beautiful start to the day: open windows, bright sunshine, a bit of time spent in the garden between jobs taking some photos of crocuses. A great morning.
The afternoon was the opposite. I wasn't feeling great, I had a troublesome job, and the kids from the horrible family not so nearby have already started screaming loud enough that you'd have thought they were very nearby, reminding me why we think of moving every summer. As the sun set and a chill returned to the air, a mental cloud soon descended, and I'm feeling tired and a bit down in the dumps tonight. Still, tomorrow night will be a replay of last Friday, but this time in Nottingham and with two different lovely friends, so that should cheer me up.
Like a lot of blippers today, I spotted ladybirds everywhere I looked. I only took one shot but it won my heart. I feel a bit like burying my head in the bark as well.
P.S. It looks pretty good large as well.
