Neighbours

I have a hunch that the colour of those two beach side doors in North Berwick was chosen on artistic merit rather than because of a falling out of neighbours.
The whole terrace of houses look to have been freshly painted and is very attractive and seasidey.

We decided on the strength of early sunshine after a misty start, to drive down the coast to North Berwick for a morning at the seaside, and certainly the skies looked much clearer that way than their murky look to the south and west.

However the clouds caught up with us as we stravaiged around the town admiring the galleries and up market shops in the High Street, and soon a gentle Highland type drizzle put pay to further wanderings.

With the cheery painted doors in the can, so to speak, we came home to find the Meadows bathed in sunshine and the sky with vast tracks of blue.
It might even be nice enough for a friend, recently returned from cycling in Kerala, and I to sit outside with our cuppas and admire the activity over the railings.
