What a great Wellington winter day - sunny all day and a high of 14C. A great day to be between jobs (I start with these guys on Monday) and to wander around the city camera in hand. Blipped this shag drying its wings at the end of Oriental Parade - the island you can see is Matiu and the mountains are the Tararuas.

I also liked this one that shows even the cops have to queue for their fuel. There's quite a few other ones that I took today on the photostream too.

Ailsa is in childcare today but I'll have her all to myself tomorrow so I just hope the weather holds as she loves being out and about and climbs the walls if she's stuck in for too long.
