Friday 2 March 2012: Flying, Daddy!

Blip challenge cancelled - can't link this to "borrowed" no matter how hard I try, and this just has to be today's blip.

Niamh has a new trick. One that I'm not too impressed with. She has been drinking really well out of a sippy cup and can even lift it to her mouth herself. However, after she has had a drink she has started to take the water in her mouth and then let it run out her mouth and down her chin. She is finding it hilarious.
Aidan was a star today. He played really well with his toys this morning and didn't even ask to have the television on once.
He insisted we walk to nursery today, even though it was a bit drizzly. The walk is quite refreshing though so I wasn't complaining. At nursery they watched "The Gruffalo's Child" as they always get a film on a Friday.
Niamh was overtired and ended up in bed at 6.30pm. I really hope this doesn't mean we are up too early tomorrow morning.
Aidan and his Dad took poor Kerney to the Vet this evening. He has a bite on his back, which didn't appear too bad at first, but over the last couple of days seems to have gotten much worse.
As we suspected, an abscess has developed and a course of antibiotics is required.
When I told Aidan what was happening he was very interested in how Kerney would get to the Vet. "Will we put him on a leash?" he asked.
