Southern Sojourn

Saturday 3 March 2012: Look sharp, in coming overhead

Went to Cable bay today. We were expecting a bit of wild weather and were hoping for some wild seas but we lucked out - well sort of. there was no wild wether to speak of and so Cable Bay proved lovely but just that - lovely. Then TeeJay took me to Nelson's Boulder Bank which I haven't visited before or knew existed even. There we saw lots of surfers and lots of Pied Shags. So many in fact that I took somewhere in the region of 200 shots of them! Lots of them flying but I liked this one the best.
Others can be seen here as well as some of the other shots I took today which didn't involved shags! Some cool surfer shots too.
