Saturday 3 March 2012: Rise and shine
Today's MChallenge12 word: "Neighborhood"
This scene is in my 'extended' neighborhood. Woke up today morning at 6:00, put warm clothes on, took my camera and tripod and stepped out of the house by 6:30. It's always very refreshing to just sit and marvel at the beauty of nature.
For this shot I manually focused the camera and set the timer at 10seconds. Pushed the shutter down and ran in front of the camera. I forgot that I was running on ice and due to a pretty warm weather during the past few days, the ice wasn't very strong under my feet - my foot went through the ice... But luckily nothing worse happened. :D
