Calendar Shot

A special shot for my old mate The Doc. Camera set on Velvia and off we go. I'll send you a print Craig...

Football training for the boys, Arbroath smokies for lunch and then Callum and myself took off on the bikes for a brisk 7 miler with an extended stop to search for a geocache. Found the neolithic rock carving a lot easier than the cache itself but fun was had. It's a bit strange searching about with a GPS loaded iPhone tapping into American satellite technology to find a set of carvings done 5-6000 years ago. Carving man would have seen us as alien warlocks no doubt, but isn't ignorance what magic and superstition really are? Anyway we used several billion dollars worth of tech, found the wee magic tube, logged our find and cycled home. There are more carvings to be found in the area (and more caches) and we'll be back no point using it all up in one trip.

More film and beer tonight; point to note Helhaven Twisted Thistle is rank. Tesco decided it was a sub for Bitter and Twisted and I stupidly decided to give it a go... it's foul, won't make that mistake again. Two remaining bottles are destined for casserole.
