Saturday 3 March 2012: Portrait of the Artist .....
.... Charles Meyrons (?), a 19th C French naval officer and artist who took a particular liking to Akaroa and is now commemorated with this statue in the Place de la Poste. The weather today did not lend itself to landscape shots.
