Sunday 4 March 2012: In the mix
Sally my running buddy and I did the Rushcliffe 10K this morning in the freezing rain. We did well !
When we got there Sally realised she didn't have the obligatory bin liner with which to keep dry until the beginning of the race, so fashioned herself a quick one out of a Next Directory returns bag. Inventive I thought !
I thought she matched pretty nicely with the cement mixer and old school desk and chairs that were part of the course ;-)
As people all around us chuckled, we quipped at least we could return her !
