Sunday 4 March 2012: Lambs are not the only Spring babies
Every springtime the seals come back to Forvie Sands to have their babies and generally chill out. Took loads of photos of the more curious seals as they swam closer and closer to us but it was this one I liked the most because the chap on the left was looking straight at me.
They are always particularly interested in the kids and the dog, although Sonny did a reverse as he bumbled into the water to get his ball and one of these guys popped up a little too close to him for comfort. Never the less we hope the seals find and enjoy playing with the rubber ball Sonny lost in the Ythan today.
