Sunday 4 March 2012: Mmm....tasty!

I think today's been the wettest day of 2012 for us - almost non-stop heavy rain which briefly turned to wet snow this afternoon. I shouldn't complain, as we desperately need the moisture. Actually it's been quite nice to have to stay in the house and get on with some tidying (both photographic and house!)

I made a plum crumble for our pudding this evening - which followed a roast dinner. Now Gemma's very fond of roast pork - but she's even more enthusiastic about plum crumble! She's always loved desserts, which has earned her the nickname 'pudding hound'.

She knew there were plenty of left overs and was positively throwing herself at us in a feeding frenzy, dancing backwards and forwards, grunting and pointing to the kitchen with her head. We relented and let her have a little bit on a spoon (she's very adept at removing food from cutlery), which she's clearly enjoying a great deal! I think our dogs might just be a teensy bit spoilt! :)
