A beautiful day in Edinburgh today. I popped out for my lunchtime walk and was able to retire back to the office with two strong portraits in the space of 15 minutes. A definite personal best.

The one I've chosen here is the more straightforward portrait of the two, but I really like how this one came out. Namely, her immaculate makeup, the sunlight on her hair, the bit of a breeze, and the Edinburgh skyline in the background.

I'm off to London tomorrow evening for a conference, and topmost on my mind is to decide how much camera gear to lug along. I should also take a gander at the conference schedule of speakers at some point...
