Monday 5 March 2012: Macro Monday
Macros remind me of the wonder of simple pleasures -
waking slowly to the sound of a purring cat by my ear
being toasty warm under layers of blankets
sleep clearing from my eyes and that first stretch under the covers
pulling aside the drapery to see what nature has in store for my day
coffee in my favorite mug
a walk through the back yard with the dogs
watching my Newfoundland dog sitting on the hill taking in her domain
no trek out to the lake or covered bridge today but none the less
grateful for the simple beauty of frozen remains..
