One daze at a time...

Let there be light

but not too much light. This is Ireland after all. Let them have a little bit of light.

On what could have been yet another dreary Monday morning, some unidentified deity got Its arse in gear and made the effort to light the giant candle that from time to time brightens life in the Dun Laoghaire area (up to Monkstown, possibly Blackrock to the north, and down to Killiney to the south, but not beyond*)

So there you go, let them have a bit of light. To make the dark grey days even less bearable.
Let them have enough sunshine a few times a year, to let them think that they too can have barbecues, and let them rush for their cardigans comes 7 pm, or risk a touch of pneumonia, unless the salmonella-ridden-cremated-on-the-outside-raw-on-the-inside chicken drumsticks got them first.
Let them have one hot windless day in August, so that the midges can feast upon them.

* Terms and conditions apply. Even for deities. It's not as if It could be everywhere and anywhere at the same time...) There is a thin line between faith and gullibility
