Still Cold

I t was still very cold today but I didn't venture into such a bleak place as yesterday AND I was risking nothing with my feet. I wore wellies today.

I had to have words with my assistant today about the impression she had given one of my visitors on Friday. She laughed and laughed! That naughty man really had me believing him! Thank goodness Jennie's first question was about the boat as she came in this morning. I heaved a sigh of relief that I hadn't gone AWOL.
