Monday 5 March 2012: A pair of gobstoppers
In the last ten days, I've delivered two talks, travelled 10,000 miles, visited 10 of the world's most amazing tech companies, and turned 40.
So I'd scheduled a little lie-in this morning.
No such luck; poor Bella woke at 7 with tonsils "like a pair of gobstoppers" (the doctor's description, not mine) and I ended up playing nurse all day long. We had a lovely day though, not delivering talks, not travelling, not visiting anyone, and not celebrating significant birthdays.
