Monday 5 March 2012: Player's Please...
738/365: ... and while I'm at it... please can I come into your odd little shop and look around too?
I pass this shop every day on my way to work and I only noticed today that it had loads of fireplace surrounds inside. Until then I'd just been interested in the old advert outside. There's something about that lettering that always catches my eye. Don't know why - but I bet it has a great interior to poke around (and take photos!) too.
Anyway - another late blip from me today as I managed to come home with (yet) another migraine. I could feel it coming on by mid-afternoon but it was too late to do anything about as it was headed full-speed towards me. The drive home with the sun low in the sky blinding my already light sensitive peepers was the last piece of the migraine puzzle!
I shouldn't moan about the light though. Other than the first ten minutes of my journey this morning and the last ten minutes this evening, I didn't have to have my lights on. YAY! That's such a turning point in the year. There should be a 'National Going to Work without your Headlights On' Day. I'd celebrate that for sure.
What other days would I have if I could? Hmmmm...
'National Put the Loo Seat Down' Day
'National Kick Anyone you see Throwing a Cigarette Butt on the Floor' Day
'When I ask you how you are and you start to tell me your medical history instead of saying 'fine', it's not fine' Awareness Week
'Walking Outside with no need for a Coat' Week
and finally...
'My kids have been unrecognisably good' Day
The latter of which didn't happen today. Felix moaned about his food. Maddy picked at hers, then sucked on a lemon (yes, really)... then they both fibbed about dropping my camera (cardinal sin) and an early bed was in order.
PS But Maddy did drag herself out of bed at half past six to wave me off to work...
PPS ... there's something heart melting about her little face, wrapped in a blanket at the door, waving your off and blowing kisses!
