The Leaning Tree at Dunans Castle

Proof positive that bravery and derring-do are alive and well in 21st century Argyll. Here we have Tim Stobart, an arborealist based on Bute, up a Larch which is leaning quite considerably over one of our most lovely exotic rhododendrons.

Here we see him chopping down the tree metre by metre on a rainy, breezy day. A braver, more skilled man than I.
