New lens!

I don't think I've had a new one in the whole two years I've been blipping, so terribly exciting (for me anyway)
took the 16-35 out for a road river test while the boys had their karate. I was rewarded with a perfect evening and the new lady performed admirably. Obviously I had it whammed right up the 16mm 90% of the time and was only regretting that extra 2mm I could have been getting on from the 14-24 a tiny bit. The VR was really quite amazing and more than compensates for the slowness of the lens. Thanks to John Gravett for the sage advice.
