Wednesday 7 March 2012: Barclay Curle Crane
Driving down to Old Kilpatrick today and I thought I would take a drive down South Street beside the River Clyde.
I always admire the huge crane that towers over the area. The crane is from the ship yard of Barlay Curle . There is works going on in there but it is an industrial estate now . You can still imagine the noise and smell of the works going on as you feel the wind blowing up the Clyde stirring up all the ghosts of years gone by.
