1066 And All That

I loved that book (Sellar & Yeatman) but I never did find the answer to: "Who was, in whose what and how many miles awhat?"

When the day leaves you tired but you don't want to have the first gap in 1066 days you get out the camera, you get out the tripod, you get the flash and the remote gear and practice drips and ripples.

You then experiment with all the wonderful colours you can make them in PS, then you decide to desaturate the thing.

Then you can't think of a single thing to say about a day of taking The Mother shopping at her insistence, in spite of not feeling too well. Or about what a good start you made together on the stocktaking. You just don't even feel inclined to comment about what a great pea and ham soup The Man had waiting for you when you got home.

What sort of a day was that then?
