Thursday 8 March 2012: Sailing Ship Mooring
This dates back to mid 1800's. Not sure if it is the remains of a wharf or perhaps a mooring for unloading sailing ships. The tide was very very low exposing these and giving reflections in the wet sands.
We did our usual Thursday morning walk at 8am along the bay, over the cliffs, around the point and back along the boardwalk to the harbour....took about an hour and very enjoyable.
Sitting at the computor for some of the day, then a visitor this afternoon, with a walk around our gardens to enjoy the sunshine and take in the beauty of the late roses and views to the Pacific Ocean.
Off out to book club tonight
